Product details
Sculptural object made of glazed terracotta, signed by J-B in 1988. The horse's head is reminiscent of a chess knight, appearing both archaic and precisely modeled. The glaze is a warm brown, shifting to khaki in the light, with the muzzle lightly speckled yellow. An opening at the mouth provides an unexpected accent and emphasizes its handmade origin. As a standalone piece on a shelf, sideboard, or mantelpiece, the object brings tranquility, materiality, and a subtly narrative touch to the room.
