  • How long does shipping take?

After completing the payment process with 2nd home, you will receive an email with the shipping details and a tracking code. Alternatively, the shipping company will contact you a few days before the delivery to arrange the exact delivery date.

Sales by private sellers: Smaller items must be shipped by private sellers within 5 business days. For larger products, the shipping time ranges from 10 days to 3 weeks after the sellers have handed over the item to the transportation company.

Sales by commercial sellers: The average delivery time here is about 2 weeks, but it can vary between 3 days and 6 weeks depending on the location of the seller.

  • How are products transported?

Purchased items at 2nd home are transported either through regular postal mail/DHL or freight carriers, depending on their size, weight, and nature.

  • How does self-pickup work?

At 2nd home, we indicate on the product page if sellers offer the option for self-pickup. Based on the seller's displayed postal code, you can decide whether this option is suitable for you.

After making the purchase, you will receive an email with the contact details of the seller to arrange a pickup appointment. Please reach out to the seller within 3 days of receiving the email to avoid any delays.

  • What happens if my item was damaged during delivery or I received the wrong item?

Of course, this should not happen under any circumstances, and we sincerely apologize if the delivery did not arrive in perfect condition. It's important that you inspect the merchandise immediately upon receipt.

  • Will my delivery be bundled if I order multiple items?

At 2nd home, items are typically not shipped together. Since they come from different sellers, they will be delivered at different times and in separate shipments.

  • How can I track the status of my shipment?

  • Can I schedule a specific delivery date for my order?

Unfortunately, at 2nd home, it is not possible to arrange for an individual delivery date or postpone the delivery when your order is shipped as a parcel. For deliveries conducted by a freight carrier, you will typically be contacted by phone approximately 2 to 3 days before the delivery. This allows you to coordinate the desired delivery timeframe directly with the carrier.

However, we do not have control over the exact delivery time. If you'd like to inquire about the status of your delivery beforehand, please feel free to send us an email at support@2nd-home.io and provide the order number. We would be happy to provide you with information.

  • Do you ship outside of Germany?

At 2nd home, we ship worldwide. The shipping costs vary based on the product's dimensions and weight, as well as the location of the item and the delivery address.
