If you buy a piece on 2nd home from a professional seller, you have a legal guarantee right. The following notice is provided by the European Union and informs you about your rights.
For new goods, the legal guarantee lasts at least two years. Most pieces on 2nd home are pre-owned. For pre-owned pieces from professional sellers, the legal guarantee is one year. You can see the condition of every piece on its product page.
