This ceramic bust of a woman appears like a quiet sculpture from a late modernist phase of Art Deco. The surface is deliberately irregular: a light, slightly granular shard beneath a nuanced black patina. The head turns to the left, the right arm pulls back. This gives the form tension without being loud. Signed "phB" on the base, the workshop remains undetermined so far. A heavy, hollow object with presence for a shelf, sideboard, or console.
