This Zsolnay bison sculpture combines decorative presence with the quiet power of a classic design. The glossy turquoise glaze displays deep, vibrant nuances and appears rarer than the well-known variations in eosin or petrol green. The model dates from the 1940s to 1950s and is one of the well-documented icons of the Hungarian manufacture. As an object on a console, shelf, or sideboard, the figure adds a calm, characterful accent.
