The Plona folding chair set by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli brings the early 1970s into the room. Its sculptural, instantly recognizable silhouette meets a precise folding mechanism. The aluminum frame and warm brown faux leather seat and backrest allow both chairs to be folded completely flat – ideal for flexible floor plans, guest areas, and small studios. Signs of age are part of the charm: scratches on the aluminum, and in one spot, the faux leather is slightly peeling from the frame. The price reflects this. A functional, comfortable design of Italian modernism – available as a pair.
