Product details
Two S 43F cantilever chairs in pastel yellow, understated and light. Designed by Mart Stam for Thonet, they translate Bauhaus functionality into a serene presence. Chromed tubular steel creates clean lines; the seat, backrest, and armrests, made of molded wood, add warmth. The yellow paint is a later, meticulously applied finish. Traces in the paint speak of use, and the chrome parts are in excellent condition. The pair exudes a welcoming and unobtrusive charm – ideal for the dining table, studio, or meeting room. Timeless and comfortable, with the characteristic elasticity of a cantilever chair. The chairs can be disassembled for shipping.

- Condition: very good vintage condition; some paint damage and signs of wear; chrome plating excellently preserved; later paintwork
