Die Bärenbank Modell 1000 wurde 1967 von Walter Papst für Wilkhahn entworfen und aus einem einzigen Stück glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff gefertigt. Ihre organische, skulpturale Form steht exemplarisch für das Space-Age-Design der 1960er Jahre und war ursprünglich für den Außenbereich konzipiert. Diese Sitzbank überzeugt auch nach über fünfzig Jahren durch klare Linienführung und zeitlose Materialästhetik.
