Jean Prouvé's Cité armchair was created in 1931 for a student residence in the Cité Universitaire of Nancy. A design that requires little material yet remains consistently stable. The construction appears technical and understated, the proportions generous and clear. This Tecta version comes in black with a blue neck cushion, adding a precise splash of color to the overall look. The armchair is in good to very good condition, with light signs of wear that suit the history of the piece.
