Marcel Breuer's B9 is one of the early tubular steel designs that so clearly shaped the Bauhaus. The side table appears subtle yet decisive: a minimalist line that almost floats in the room and yet remains present. In the outdoor version with a Thonet Protect frame and black solid core top, it is robust enough for a terrace or conservatory, and equally fitting next to a sofa and bed. Intended as a single piece or part of a group, it remains above all one thing: a precise storage solution in the best sense.
