Product details
This Japanese Kutani cachepot from the Meiji period combines porcelain painting with a subtly elegant bronze mounting. The baluster-shaped silhouette appears classic, while the hand-painted reserves in red, gold, and polychrome tones depict birds, blossoms, and foliage with a delicate rhythm. Side handles and an upper bronze rim frame the decor like a picture. An object for a console, shelf, or windowsill that allows for patina and gains precisely through it.
