Product details
A pair of Trix chairs by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF, designed in the 1980s. Their strict lines and clear geometry place them firmly within German postmodernism. Powder-coated metal forms the angular arm and leg elements as a graphic frame. A seat upholstered in blue leather is suspended within this frame. The cylindrical backrest is supported by vertical rods. A stepped metal bar beneath the seat accentuates the architectural construction. Clear, precise, and understated. At the dining table or in the studio, the chairs develop a sculptural presence. Very good vintage condition, with minor signs of age.
