The Panton Classic by Verner Panton is a sculpture for sitting. In sun yellow, it displays the flowing S-shape that has been shaping spaces since the 1960s. Made of solid plastic, cantilevered, with a slightly yielding structure. The 1959 design was brought to series production with Vitra and is represented in museum collections. The body-hugging contour offers comfortable seating at a table or solo as an accent. The available examples are in very good condition. The strong yellow sets a clear, graphic tone – factual and playful at the same time.
