Product details

Ron Arad's Bad Tempered Chair (2002) is a further development of his Well Tempered Chair from the 1980s for Vitra. Instead of sheet steel, this version uses a composite of carbon, Kevlar, and fiberglass with synthetic resin. The idea remains: a minimalist, sculptural seating form that is not rigid, but yields slightly. The result is a precise object with a calm presence and a characteristic, gentle resonance. This lounge chair is in very good condition.
