The Lobby Chair ES 108 by Charles and Ray Eames was created in 1960 for the lobby of the Time Life Building in New York. Its architectural aspirations are evident. Clearly structured, yet pleasantly soft. Three individually upholstered elements are precisely set into an aluminum frame, both constructive and understated. Black leather gives the design depth and tranquility without being loud. This piece is in like-new condition and fits equally well in an office or as an accent armchair in living spaces.
