Product details
This small statuette depicts the "Madonna della seggiola" after Raphael. A religious motif, executed in the Neo-Gothic spirit of the time. The material is spelter with a golden patina, now visibly browned and rubbed in places. It was probably once intended as a clock ornament or mounted on a base. Despite signs of wear, the figure remains calm and present in its effect. An object for shelves, niches, and display cases, where patina and history are expressly welcome.
