The RH 302 by Robert Haussmann is one of the early Swiss designs that mark the transition from Mid-Century Modern to a more precise, almost Space Age-like language. A flat steel frame supports burgundy-violet fabric cushions, giving the sofa a calm, graphic silhouette. The design was first shown at Haussmann & Haussmann, later became internationally known as Swiss Design, and is now manufactured by de Sede. Signs of wear are present but remain honest and subtle within the overall appearance.
