Product details
This glazed stoneware vessel from La Borne brings the quiet understated elegance of French studio ceramics to the table. The bulbous shape with side handles appears almost archaic, while the nuanced glaze remains pleasantly restrained. The lid with a small knob makes the piece practical for everyday use, as a serving accessory, for salt, compost at the table, or as a small storage container. Attributed to the work of Prudhomme and typical of the 1960s to 1970s. An honest object with patina and character.
