A classic rocking chair by Akita Mokko, model No. 5-RU, crafted using traditional bentwood techniques. The soft curves of the armrests meet an airy rattan backrest. Proportions that inspire tranquility; a gentle rocking motion that supports. The bentwood is beech, warm in tone, with a natural patina. Beneath the seat, a circular detail connects the lines – a testament to the workshop's precision. This piece is from the IDC Otsuka collection. Used condition with signs of wear; the crossbar between the front legs is missing.
