This Lunéville gravy boat, dating from around 1900 to 1920, brings a quiet elegance to the table. The classic body with two spouts sits firmly on the matching original underplate. The polychrome transfer decor references neoclassicism: floral friezes and tendrils in blue, green, and yellow, accented by fine gold lines. On the underside, the mark "Opaque Lunéville France" is stamped under a crown. A piece of French table culture, made for everyday use and well-aged.
