Product details
Two delicate mocha cups from Meiji-Satsuma. Hand-painted with figurative scenes, fine gold lines, and a subtle relief texture. The warm, creamy glaze displays the crackle glaze typical of Satsuma, lending a sense of calm to the composition. Each cup and saucer is marked with a red stamp on the underside. Made in Japan around 1868–1912. A small format with a powerful presence: perfect for the tea table or as a quiet display piece. Each motif is meticulously crafted in a tranquil color palette. In very good condition, with minimal signs of age, no cracks or chips.
