The RH 603 coffee table by Robert Haussmann demonstrates how precise and subtle a design can be. Designed in 1957, it marks the beginning of the approach with which Trix and Robert Haussmann later ironically questioned the severity of modernism. A black lacquered wooden frame supports an inlaid glass top, also black. The result is graphic, understated, and astonishingly present. A vintage piece that fits into clear interiors while still bringing its own story. Slight signs of wear are present.
