Harvey Guzzini's Lucerna is a 1970s floor lamp that translates Italian Space Age design with tranquility. The dome-shaped diffuser made of white acrylic sits like a small architectural element on the chrome-plated frame. When switched on, the light becomes soft and even, creating atmosphere rather than accent. The combination of plastic and chrome is typical for iGuzzini during this period: clear, precisely proportioned, without frills. A lamp with a sculptural presence that nonetheless recedes into the background.
