The Opala floor lamp by Hans J. Wegner for Louis Poulsen is a quiet classic from the 1970s. Designed for the Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen, its appearance remains strikingly clear to this day: a large acrylic shade, framed at the top by grey lacquered aluminum, supported by a slender steel rod with a stable base. The light is soft and present, with a subtle Space Age touch. The lamp is functional and in very good vintage condition, with barely visible marks on the upper end.
