Product details
Four S33 cantilever chairs by Mart Stam, manufactured by Fasem in Italy. A fundamental Bauhaus design that consistently showcases the principle of cantilever seating in chrome-plated tubular steel. The frame draws a clear line, the seat appears to float and yields slightly when sat upon. Thick leather surfaces for the seat and back bring calm and substance to the design. A set that works equally well at a dining table or in a studio. Good vintage condition with minor, age-appropriate traces, see photos.
