Product details
The S32 chair by Marcel Breuer combines modernism, formulated in 1928, with grounded craftsmanship. Viennese cane webbing on the seat and backrest rests within a light wood frame, supported by precisely bent steel tubing. The cantilever design yields without appearing soft – clear, comfortable, and timeless. Thonet has been producing the design since 1930; this continuity speaks to its quality. The offered examples are from Thonet's own production, and the seat webbing has been renewed. The condition is good to very good, the overall impression calm and well-maintained – equally convincing at the dining table or in the office.
