A Bauhaus cantilever chair S 43, after Mart Stam, manufactured in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s or 1960s. The construction demonstrates the clear functionality of the design, while the rarer wood veneer adds a warmer, almost graphic touch. The surface is visibly matte and shows signs of use. The chrome-plated frame is in very good condition, with normal traces of wear and minimal corrosion. A functional piece of modern design, precise in its lines and understated in its expression. The price is per chair.
