The Pippa folding chair, designed by Rena Dumas for Hermès, combines mobility with a serene presence. A slender frame of light maple features precise radii; the seat and back are covered with Hermès leather that develops a patina. Despite the folding mechanism, the profile appears clear and sculptural. The Pippa line has been part of Hermès' furniture range since the 1990s, manufactured in the Saint-Louis workshop in Paris. A piece for living rooms, studies, or curated presentations – functional, high-quality, with a lived-in surface. Maple darkens over time to a warm amber tone.
