Product details
Six dining chairs that combine mid-century serenity with handcrafted precision. A solid beechwood frame with cylindrical legs and struts, upholstered in dark brown leather. Attributed to the Ilmari Tapiovaara design for La Permanente Cantù: construction and proportions correspond to documented versions. Unlike the original cantilevered version, these chairs have a structured seat with an inset base – slightly firmer, comfortably supportive. Rolled top edge, visible joints, softly sculpted lines. In good vintage condition with age-appropriate creases, scratches, and signs of wear. Typical of La Permanente's 1970s production: Scandinavian clarity, Italian warmth.
