Product details

This large enamel dish from Thun combines Swiss craftsmanship with the serene ornamentation of the late 19th century. Schoch-Läderach signed the piece, identifiable by its stamp. Floral motifs and geometric friezes are finely incised into the clay, covered by a light, almost cream-colored glaze with dark green, deep blue, yellow, and orange-red accents. The slight indentation in the center makes it compelling as a serving dish or as a quiet object on a table. Age-related crazing and minor enamel imperfections are visible but remain subtle.
