Product details
Eero Saarinen's Tulip coffee table organizes space with a clear gesture. A single, circular base supports the flat disc of the tabletop – the idea of eliminating the "slum of legs" consistently implemented. Designed in 1957, produced by Knoll from 1958. This example comes with a black Fenix surface and a cast aluminum base. The silhouette appears to be cast from a single mold; light yet stable. Very good vintage condition, subtle signs of use. Diameter 91 cm, height 39 cm. A quiet classic for seating areas that calmly combines form and function.
