Richard Sapper's Tizio lamp arose from a very personal need: in the early 1970s, Sapper couldn't find a desk lamp that met his standards for precision and flexibility. So, he designed it himself. The characteristic balance of counterweight, slender, adjustable arms, and a precisely alignable lamp head makes the Tizio 50 a calm, functional icon for the workplace to this day. This particular piece is in very good vintage condition, appearing clear and timeless.
