Product details
Mario Botta's Quinta for Alias translates architecture into seating. Geometry, steel, air. The minimalist tubular metal frame supports the seat and backrest made of folded, perforated sheet metal; the perforations give the steel a slight flexibility – resulting in surprisingly comfortable seating. A black finish and clean proportions emphasize its structural character. Created in Italy in the 1980s, it is no longer in production. The piece embodies the precise, graphic lines of postmodernism and works equally well on its own or at a table. Vintage condition, with the usual signs of age. Original Alias sticker present.
