Mario Botta's architecture is strict and sculptural, characterized by clear geometry and compact volumes. This precise attitude is translated into the Botta 91 chair, designed in 1991 for the 700th anniversary of Switzerland. The frame made of black lacquered metal appears precise and light, while the grey striped upholstery brings a sense of calm to the design. Alias produced only 700 copies, each signed and numbered. The edition includes a similarly signed and numbered lithograph by Mario Botta, which is included in the price here.
