The EA 217 Soft Pad by Charles and Ray Eames translates office comfort into a clear, calm form. The aluminum frame is covered with black leather and the typical sewn-on upholstery cushions, which are soft but visually light. The mechanics remain deliberately visible: rotatable, height-adjustable via a screw thread, plus a tilt function and castors for everyday use at the desk. A design classic that doesn't look like an office chair even in a home office. Very good vintage condition with slight signs of wear, especially on the armrests.
