Konstantin Grcic's Venus chair for ClassiCon from 2006 is a focused design with a clear silhouette and a calm presence. The seat and back are conceived as a continuous element upholstered in black leather, supported by a semi-conical base that gives the chair its sculptural tension. The lines remain strict, yet the effect is warm, especially in the dining area or as a standalone piece at a desk. This piece was an exhibition model and shows only minor signs of wear.
