Packaging

All of our items are thoroughly cleaned and carefully packaged for shipping. It is very important to us that the packaging is of the same high quality standard as the item purchased. Depending on the fragility of the item, packaging may be in a 5 or 7 layer cardboard box or wooden crate. Larger items may need to be shipped in crates with pallets. We create bespoke packaging to avoid unnecessary packaging waste and filler. We only use recyclable materials.

Shipping

We offer first class and insured worldwide shipping. All small and medium sized packages are shipped as first class international air parcels or EMS parcels via international government shipping carriers. Large packages and bulk orders are shipped with a courier partner (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.). All shipping costs are automatically calculated during the checkout process. Due to custom packaging, shipping costs for bulk orders are not automatically calculated correctly. Please contact us for shipping quotes for bulk orders or order the items, after which we will issue a partial refund if shipping was overpaid. All our packages are insured or guaranteed by us provided proof of damage is provided to us within 3 days of delivery. Any visible damage to the package must be photographed upon delivery, otherwise the insurance policy may not be valid. We endeavor to ship the products within 72 hours of receiving your order. For larger items and bulk orders, please allow up to 5-7 business days for safe processing and shipping of your order. We ask that you allow 25 working days for all deliveries. The waiting time should be much shorter (around 7-10 working days for deliveries within EU/EEA, 7-15 working days for overseas destinations), but we have to say this in case there are delays during busier times of the year. Please contact us for shipping upgrades or shipping related enquiries. Our other shipping partners and options include: EMS, FedEx / FedEx Freight / FedEx Express, DHL / DHL Express, Schenker, In Time, Direct Freight Shipping (direct flight to airport) and many more. Overseas customers may be subject to import duties and taxes which are to be paid by the buyer. (Customers outside EU)

Returns when purchasing from a commercial dealer:

If you have purchased a product from a commercial dealer, the statutory right of withdrawal applies: This means that you have 14 days after receiving the goods to return the item in its original condition and packaging. The return goes directly to the commercial dealer and not to 2nd home . You as the buyer bear the costs for the return.

Returns when purchasing from private sellers:

If you have purchased a product from a private seller, the warranty and therefore the return are excluded. Please note that if you collect the product yourself, the sale is final as soon as you, the buyer, have taken possession of the product. If you are not satisfied with your product, please contact our customer service and we will try to find a solution together.
