The Standard chair by Jean Prouvé is a design born out of everyday life. Conceived in 1934 for schools and offices, constructed like a small piece of architecture. The sturdy rear legs carry the load, the rest remains deliberately light. This SR version with upholstered seat and backrest feels softer without losing its technical clarity. Red lacquered frame, grey upholstery. A precise piece of Vitra history, no longer produced in this version today. Condition like new. Price per chair, only one piece available.
