Large vintage decorative wall plate from Gubbio, made of Italian faience and hand-painted. A stylized bird is at the center, framed by polychrome leaf and floral motifs. The geometric frieze at the rim brings calm to the vibrant decor. The square shape with rounded corners and a slight well appears graphic yet warm. The glossy glaze sits on a noticeably sturdy shard. A piece for the wall that brings together color, craftsmanship, and Italian ceramic tradition.
