A filigree wall shelf from the 1950s or 1960s. Gold-anodized metal meets black stringing, clear in line and light in effect. As a hat rack in the hallway or as a narrow stage for books and found objects, it brings mid-century logic to the wall: a reduced frame, a graphic grid, honest materials.
