This vase from the Chřibská glassworks showcases Bohemian studio glass of the post-war era at its most expressive. Josef Hospodka, one of the defining glass designers of Czechoslovakia, composed here an organic, wave-shaped silhouette in cobalt blue, delicate pink and clear glass. The thick-walled, mouth-blown design gives the object a sculptural presence despite its flowing lines and fits perfectly into our Vases category.
