This Sommerso vase, attributed to Flavio Poli, represents the serene precision of Murano glass art from the 1950s and 1960s. The shape is slender and tear-drop-like, with a long, clearly defined neck over a heavy, oval body. Deep blue lies as if submerged under an amber, slightly yellowish layer. This gives the glass a warm yet graphic appearance. A vase that works as a silent object in the room even without flowers.
