Two Fat Lava vases by Kreutz Keramik, created during the experimental West German pottery scene of the 1960s and 70s. Orange meets deep black, making the glaze the central motif. In model 207, the crater-like structure sits atop a bulbous silhouette, while model 425, with its cylindrical form, provides a calmer counterpoint. Together, they resemble small sculptures on a sideboard—graphic, tactile, and clearly within the context of mid-century modern design.
