A Murano vase from the 1960s, in cobalt blue with an opal white core. The overlaid glass allows the blue to shine deeply and accentuates the clear waffle texture. Mouth-blown, with the subtle irregularities of handcrafted production. Sculptural on a console or dining table, striking as a standalone piece, serene with just a few branches. The proportionate height of 40 cm meets a balanced diameter of 18 cm. A mid-century Italian accent that masterfully brings material and light into dialogue. The inner layer of white frosted glass acts as a diffuser, adding depth to the piece.
