Product details
This vintage Awaji-yaki vase from Japan, dated circa 1900 to 1930, combines serene form with artisanal precision. The slender body opens upwards, suitable for single branches or a minimalist Ikebana arrangement. The deep green glaze is glossy and exhibits a delicate, natural crazing. Particularly noteworthy is the original bamboo weaving, which visually frames the vessel while subtly conveying its origin from the workshops of Awaji Island. A restrained object with presence.
