Six-piece long drink set by Sergio Asti for Arnolfo di Cambio, Italy, 1970s. A slender, cylindrical silhouette in clear crystal glass. An air bubble is embedded in the base – precise, graphic, with a serene presence. 18.5 cm high, 5.5 cm in diameter. The interplay of mass and transparency makes the glasses both suitable for everyday use and collectible. Each glass is slightly shorter; fine manufacturing tolerances are to be expected. Ideal for water, highballs, or as a silent object on a shelf. Italian glass design, minimalist and functional. Cool proportions, a pleasantly slim handle.
