Florence Knoll designed the Table Desk in 1961 as a precise response to the demands of everyday work. This oval model for Knoll International features a warm walnut top and rests on a restrained base. The integrated cable management opening in the center keeps the surface clean and uncluttered. The edges are delicate, the surface generous. At 198 cm in length, the table is suitable as a desk, dining table, or conference table. The proportions are clear, the presence understated. Mid-century modern, without nostalgia. The table is in good to very good, well-maintained condition.
