Product details
This small Moroccan silver-plated metal tea tray combines everyday utility with ornamentation. It stands on three feet in the shape of lion's paws, making it almost an object in its own right. The pierced rim frames a finely chased center with floral and geometric motifs, rooted in the Maghrebi decorative tradition. The surface shows a serene patina, with brass or copper shimmering through in places. A piece from the second half of the 20th century that functions as a tray, serving platter, or a quiet detail in a room.
