This tallboy cabinet by Holger Jensen for FDB Møbler showcases Danish furniture design from the 1960s in a rarer, lighter shade. Oak, rather than teak, lends a sense of calm and robustness. The proportions are deliberately vertical: 122 cm high, yet with a compact footprint. Two narrow drawers at the top provide space for small items, while five wide compartments below accommodate textiles or papers. The double handles create a clean horizontal line on the front. The delicate frame visually lightens the solid cabinet. Refinished, oiled, and meticulously detailed.
