Product details
The Calla chair, attributed to Antonio Ari Colombo, brings the late sixties into a clear present. Warm wood and woven cane meet a slender frame of chromed steel tubing. The proportions are calm, the lines understated. Visible signs of wear are part of its charm; the weave is tight and unbroken. A light, practical dining chair with a subtle interplay of materials. A convincing set at the dining table, equally harmonious on its own. Available individually. Created in the late 1960s to early 1970s, attributed to the Calla model and often associated with Arflex. The typology is familiar and timeless, the details precise. The seat height is comfortable, and the construction remains stable.
